Re-START is one of three programs offered by The START Program.
Re-START is a consent-based and voluntary program that works with adults who have had contact with the justice system.
The Re-START program assists clients by coordinating and advocating for resources by using a non-judgmental and client-centred approach.
Re-START began serving adults involved in the justice system on April 1, 2019.
The program, initiated by the Department of Justice, is offered in several communities across Manitoba.
The program is now available in all areas with START Model Programs:
The Re-START program is based on the START model.
START - Selkirk, St. Andrews, St. Clements, Brokenhead Ojibway Nation
DART - City and RM of Dauphin, Villages and RM's of Ochre River, Winnipegosis, Ethelbert, Grandview, Gilbert Plains or Valley River First Nation.
HEADWAY - Steinbach, RM of Hanover
FYRST - Gimli, Arborg, Riverton, Winnipeg Beach
